Atium vinner WaterCampus Business Challenge 2018

Atium, med grundarna Emma Ericsson och Johan Björkquist i spetsen, har utsetts till vinnare i årets upplaga av WaterCampus Business Challenge. Atium, som för tillfället ingår i Chalmers Ventures Encubation-program, övertygade en tolvmanna-jury om sin hållbara affärsplan – vilken de utvecklat under en veckas tid i samråd med experter och erfarna entreprenörer kopplade till tävlingen.

Atium’s goal is to help create an environment free from toxic heavy metals. We are developing a new technology for detecting and selectively removing mercury and other heavy metals from water. The patent pending technology is based on Chalmers research.

The WaterCampus Business Challenge is an excellent training for existing and future entrepreneurs, focusing on how to build good innovative technology and services into a successful international business. Together with various experts and experienced entrepreneurs, an inspiring broad and high quality program is offered. The WaterCampus Business Challenge is powered by Wetsus, Water Alliance, CEW, Deloitte and O2 Environmental. The challenge will take place from March 2 to 6, 2015. The program is open for everyone who has an (idea for an) exciting business proposition for the water industry, and wants to learn more about how to become successful in this sector.
