Sam Manaberi, founder of Trine – receives the Honorary Award from HM King Carl XVI Gustaf

Pressmeddelande från Trine 2019-11-06:

Trine CEO, Sam Manaberi, received an Honorary Award from HM King Carl XVI Gustaf this Monday when some of the most ambitious entrepreneurs of 2019 were celebrated at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. The only person who has received this award before is US Ambassador, Mark Brzezinski, and that was back in 1998 – go Sam!

The awards ceremony has been held since 1999 and includes prizes for New Entrepreneur of the Year, Pioneer of the Year and Young Pioneer of the Year. The organisation behind these awards is the International Entrepreneur Association in Sweden, whose motivation for awarding Sam an Honorary Award was:

”With his model he has managed to revolutionise an ineffective market and made a better life possible for millions of people. Thanks to the work of his company coming generations will grow up in a greener world.”

Sam was quick to point out that he was accepting the award on behalf of the team at Trine and to say:

“It’s a great honour to receive this honorary award. Together with this type of support, we should be able to make sustainability the obvious choice.”

He was joined at the event by the winners of the 2019 awards which are listed below.

Entrepreneur of the Year: Susanne Najafi, Backing Minds
Young Pioneer of the Year: Noel Abdayem, The Humble Co
Pioneer of the Year: Ahmed Ablah, Halmstad Stenhuggeri
